Support FAQ

To replace older activated plug-ins with the new free versions simply remove the old plug-in or plug-in folder then install the new.

• Pro Import AE
  • Your previous installer should have created either a folder or an alias named "Automatic Duck" in your After Effects Plug-ins folder. Start by trashing this folder or alias.
  • Mac OS X
    • Copy the AutoDuck Pro Import AE.plugin file from your downloaded DMG into your After Effects Plug-insfolder.
  • Windows
  • Download the version of the plug-in appropriate for your version of After Effects.
  • Unzip the file
  • Copy the entire "Automatic Duck (CS3-CS4)" or "Automatic Duck (CS5-CS5.5)" folder into your After Effects Plug-ins folder.
• Pro Export FCP
  • Trash your existing plug-in located at "/Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins/AutoDuck Pro Export FCP.bundle"
  • Copy the new plug-in from your download DMG to the same location.
• Pro Import FCP
  • Trash your existing plug-in located at "/Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins/AutoDuck Pro Import FCP.bundle"
  • Copy the new plug-in from your download DMG to the same location.
